**Salary: £34,000£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, hours worked and out-of-hours cover**This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join a growing plumbing and drainage business operating throughout the West Midlands and South Staffordshire.The position is primarily focused on operating a Class 2 Jet Vac tanker, carrying out planned and reactive drainage work for commercial and domestic customers. Approximately 7580% of the role will involve tanker operations, with the remaining time supporting other drainage work and occasional basic plumbing tasks.The company has a strong, supportive team and operates as part of a recognised national brand and collaborative franchise network. It is committed to delivering outstanding customer service and provides ongoing internal and external training to help employees develop their skills and progress as the business grows.What we need from you:A current UK HGV Class 2 driving licence and Driver CPCPrevious experience operating a Jet Vac tanker or similar vehicle would be advantageousPrevious drainage experience would be beneficialBasic plumbing or wider multi-trade experience would be an advantageA positive and dependable approach to working in different weather conditions and at varying times of the dayExcellent customer service and communication skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamAn organised and professional approachThe ability to complete work safely and within required timescalesWhat the role involves:Operating a Class 2 Jet Vac tankerCarrying out tanker-based drainage work across the West Midlands and South StaffordshireEmptying and cleaning septic tanks, treatment plants, and pumping stationsPumping station maintenance and repairsCompleting planned preventative maintenance and pre-planned remedial work gullys, slotted drains and underground drainage systemsResponding to reactive drainage requirementsAssisting with additional drainage work using a van-pack jetter when requiredUndertaking occasional basic plumbing tasksWorking with both commercial and domestic customersCompleting relevant job records and paperwork accuratelyParticipating in the companys rotational out-of-hours call-out serviceHours: Monday to Friday 8am 4.30pm core hours, approximately 42.5 hours per week.
