CNC Machine Operator - Rotating Shifts

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Bristol for 2 CNC Operators to join their production team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous CNC machine operating experience who is looking to join a stable business offering long-term career prospects, training and development opportunities.The role involves operating CNC milling machinery to manufacture aluminium components while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and traceability.The RoleWorking as part of a busy manufacturing team, you'll be responsible for operating CNC machinery, carrying out quality checks and ensuring production requirements are met safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating CNC milling machinesLoading materials and components into CNC machineryReading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructionsProducing components to drawing specificationsCarrying out quality inspections using measuring equipmentEnsuring part conformity and maintaining material traceabilityReporting equipment issues to Engineering and Quality teamsSupporting continuous improvement activities within the machining departmentMaintaining a safe and organised working environmentWhat We're Looking ForEssentialPrevious CNC machine operating experienceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres and gaugesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood communication and organisational skillsExperience working within a manufacturing, engineering or production environmentDesirableExperience with Haas, Mazak or Hurco machines, although we will consider all CNC experience.Experience editing CNC programmesExperience machining aluminiumExperience creating fixtures and clamping arrangementsWhat's on Offer?Permanent positionSalary of £34,500 per annumRotating weekly shift pattern:Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00Week 2: 14:00 - 22:00Monday to Friday37.5 hours per weekDevelopment and training opportunitiesCompany social eventsUniform provided25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysAuto-enrolment pension schemeFree on-site parkingIf you're an experienced CNC Operator looking for your next opportunity in Bristol, we'd love to hear from you.If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
