Studio Assistant

Location: SW London

Job Type: Full-time (including occasional evenings and weekends)

Salary: £26,000 > £32,000 depending on experience

\n

Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holidays and Christmas period

\n

Start date: asap

\n

Hours: 9 per day plus paid OT

\n

Our client isone of London's leading photographic and film studios, providing premium studio space for photography, film, TV, advertising and commercial productions

\n

They are looking for a practical, enthusiastic and hardworking Studio Assistant to join our team and help keep the studios running smoothly

\n

The Role

\n

This is a hands-on role, and it helps to be of a practical mindset. You'll support the day-to-day running of the studios, prepare studios for shoots and help ensure everything is ready for a seamless production

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Preparing studios before and after shoots, including regular painting of studios
  • \n
  • Moving preparing lighting equipment for shoot
  • \n
  • Keeping studios, communal areas and facilities clean, tidy and presentable
  • \n
  • Carrying out basic maintenance and practical tasks around the building
  • \n
  • Checking lighting equipment and reporting any faults or damage
  • \n

  • Experience in a studio environment and using lighting equipment

  • An interest in photography, filmmaking or the creative industries
  • \n
  • Basic DIY or maintenance skills
  • \n
\n
