Role Overview
\n We are seeking a skilled GNC (Guidance, Navigation & Control)*Developer/Algorithm*Engineer to support the development of autonomous navigation capabilities for rover platforms. The role focuses on designing, validating, and integrating advanced algorithms that enable intelligent, on-board decision-making in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

Algorithm Development

\n
    \n
  • Design and develop advanced GNC algorithms for autonomous rover navigation
  • \n
  • Implement capabilities to enable Real Time, on-board decision-making and autonomy
  • \n
  • Ensure robustness and reliability of algorithms for operation in complex terrains
  • \n
\n

Simulation & Prototyping

\n
    \n
  • Develop and maintain numerical simulation models to validate algorithm performance
  • \n
  • Integrate GNC algorithms with rover sensor systems and hardware interfaces
  • \n
  • Support rapid prototyping activities using Robot Operating System (ROS 2)
  • \n
\n

Testing & Validation

\n
    \n
  • Validate algorithm performance within custom simulation environments
  • \n
  • Conduct hands-on testing on full-scale prototype rovers, including:
  • \n
  • Indoor testing in controlled environments
  • \n
  • Outdoor field trials in realistic terrain
  • \n
  • Analyse test results and iterate on algorithm performance
  • \n

Preferred Skills & Experience (optional to include if needed)

    \n
  • Must have a strong background in robotics, control systems, or autonomous systems
  • \n
  • Must have an experience with ROS/ROS 2
  • \n
  • Proficiency in simulation tools and algorithm development (eg, Python, C++, MATLAB)
  • \n
  • Experience working with sensor integration (eg, LiDAR, IMU, cameras)
  • \n
  • Familiarity with field testing and real-world system validation
  • \n
