\nWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist education setting in Coalville for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join their team from August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
The Role\nAs an SEMH Teacher, you will:

- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs. \n
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress. \n
- Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment. \n
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and the wider multidisciplinary team. \n
- Promote positive behaviour through restorative and trauma-informed approaches. \n
- Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress. \n
We are looking for someone who:

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. \n
- Has experience working with pupils with SEMH needs, SEND, or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential). \n
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills. \n
- Is patient, empathetic and committed to helping every learner achieve their potential. \n
- Has a flexible and proactive approach to teaching. \n
