Location: Warrington (Hybrid - Office, Home & Site Based)
\nSalary: Circa £50,000 + 10% Car Allowance + 10% Bonus

\nThe Opportunity
\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Health & Safety Officer to join a growing engineering and construction business delivering mechanical and electrical projects across the UK.
\nThis role will support projects ranging from small-scale installations through to major schemes valued at over £20m. Significant UK travel is required, spending time on active project sites, supporting operational teams and ensuring high standards of Health & Safety compliance.Reporting to the Contracts Director, with support from the Group Health & Safety Director, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive safety culture as the business continues to grow.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across UK project sites. \n
- Support Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams with practical Health & Safety advice. \n
- Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are implemented. \n
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses. \n
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures. \n
- Support contractor management and CDM compliance activities. \n
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings. \n
- Produce reports and track corrective actions through to completion. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety Advisor, Officer or Coordinator position. \n
- Experience supporting M&E installation, engineering or construction projects. \n
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent). \n
- Strong communicator with a practical, site-focused approach. \n
- Comfortable travelling extensively across the UK and working autonomously. \n
- Full UK Driving Licence. \n
