The Role

\n

The firm is seeking an Associate with 2-5 years’ PQE to join its highly ranked Charities and Community team. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters for prominent UK and international clients in the charity and not-for-profit sector. Work will include:

  • Charity structuring and restructuring
  • \n
  • Governance and constitutional matters
  • \n
  • Advising on trading arrangements and non-charitable subsidiaries
  • \n
  • Charity tax and fundraising regulation
  • \n
  • Supporting on mergers, reorganisations and compliance projects
  • \n
  • You will also have the opportunity to contribute to thought leadership, client training and business development initiatives.

What They’re Looking For

\n
    \n
  • 2-5 PQE, ideally with charity law experience
  • \n
  • Strong academic record and excellent communication skills
  • \n
  • Experience or a strong interest in governance, constitutional and regulatory matters
  • \n
  • Ability to manage smaller projects independently while supporting on larger mandates
  • \n
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
  • \n
