\nAn award-winning, full-service UK law firm is seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor (2+ years' PQE) to join its highly respected Private Client team.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor looking to build their career within a well-established Court of Protection department. You'll work alongside experienced specialists on high-quality, rewarding work, supporting vulnerable clients and their families with a range of complex property and financial affairs matters.
\nThe firm's Private Client division is highly regarded, with specialist teams providing expert advice across a range of complex matters. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join this successful and expanding team.
\nThe Role
\nYou'll be responsible for managing your own caseload while receiving support and supervision where required. Your work will include:

- Court of Protection deputyship applications. \n
- Managing property and financial affairs deputyships. \n
- Statutory will and gifting applications. \n
- Advising clients on matters relating to the Mental Capacity Act 2005. \n
- Liaising with clients, families, care providers, financial advisers and other professionals. \n
- Building strong client relationships through exceptional service and compassionate advice. \n
About You
\nTo be successful, you'll have:
\n- \n
- A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in Court of Protection work. \n
- Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Court of Protection procedures. \n
- Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision. \n
- Excellent communication, organisation and client care skills. \n
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable clients. \n
