£36,000 - £38,000 per annum

40 Hours per Week | 5 Days out of 7 but predominantly Mon-Fri

Lead a thriving café operation at one of London's premier events venues.

We're looking for a passionate and hands-on Café Manager to oversee the daily operation of a busy café within a leading conference and exhibition venue in Central London.

This is far more than a traditional café management role. You'll be at the heart of a dynamic environment that welcomes office tenants, business professionals, exhibitors, delegates and event attendees from across the UK and beyond. With a busy calendar of conferences, exhibitions and live events, no two days are ever the same.

The café serves a high-quality offer including speciality coffees, fresh sandwiches, seasonal salads, homemade cakes and a range of hot food options. We're seeking an enthusiastic leader who can inspire a team, deliver exceptional customer experiences and thrive in a fast-paced events environment.

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the café, ensuring consistently excellent service standards

• Recruit, train, motivate and develop a high-performing team
\n
• Manage staff rotas and labour scheduling
\n
• Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness
\n
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety and company procedures
\n
• Manage stock levels, supplier orders and cost control
\n
• Lead from the front during busy service periods and large-scale event days
\n
• Work closely with venue management teams to plan and deliver seamless service during conferences and exhibitions
\n

About You

• Proven management experience within a café, contract catering or high-volume hospitality environment
\n
• A confident and inspirational leader with strong people management skills
\n
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
\n
• Commercially aware with experience managing stock and labour costs
\n
• Passionate about great food, quality coffee and outstanding customer service
\n
• Able to remain calm, focused and proactive during busy service periods
\n
• A hands-on manager who enjoys being part of the action
\n
