About TAG

\n

\n

TAG Catering Equipment UK has been designing, supplying, and installing commercial kitchens and bar fit-outs since 1988, working with some of the most respected names in hospitality — from independent restaurants and Michelin-starred kitchens to five-star hotels and high-profile venue operators.

\n

\n

We deliver full turnkey projects, from initial design through to installation and final sign-off, combining in-house design, bespoke fabrication, and a full construction and M&E capability. Projects range from £10k single-installation works to £1.5m full fit-outs.

\n

\n

\n

The Role

\n

\n

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to add to our project delivery team. You'll manage a complex programme of works — kitchen and bar installation, M&E, walls, floors, ceilings, and associated building works — either running several projects concurrently or leading a single large-scale project over an extended period.

\n

\n

Experience in catering equipment or hospitality fit-out is much preferred. We would welcome applications from the wider construction and commercial interior fit-out sectors if you have had exposure to commercial kitchens.

\n

\n

\n

What You'll Be Doing

\n

\n

Planning and Delivery

\n
    \n
  • Develop project plans covering timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • \n
  • Prepare the initial works programme, raise and issue RAMS, and manage variations
  • \n
  • Prepare snagging lists, oversee O&M manuals, and sign off final accounts
  • \n
\n

\n

Team and Contractor Management

\n
    \n
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and site workers
  • \n
  • Liaise with clients, their design and sub-contractor teams, our suppliers, manufacturers, and installation teams
  • \n
\n

\n

Quality and Compliance

\n
    \n
  • Oversee construction activity to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
  • \n
\n

\n

Stakeholder Communication

\n
    \n
  • Maintain regular contact with hospitality stakeholders — from Facilities Managers to Executive Chefs — providing progress updates and addressing concerns throughout delivery
  • \n
\n

\n

\n

The Fit

\n

\n

Essential

\n
    \n
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in hospitality fit-out, or the wider commercial fit-out and construction sectors
  • \n
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager, with relevant qualifications
  • \n
  • Strong technical knowledge of drawings and quotations, and confidence using these to communicate with clients and contractors
  • \n
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage time-sensitive, multi-stakeholder projects
  • \n
  • A professional, presentable manner as a client-facing representative of the company
  • \n
\n

\n

Desirable

\n
    \n
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team, delivering projects on time and within budget
  • \n
\n

\n

\n

What We Offer

\n

\n
    \n
  • £45,000 – £50,000, dependent on experience
  • \n
  • Support from an in-house design, sales, and marketing team
  • \n
  • Bonus/commission structure
  • \n
  • Laptop, iPad, and mobile phone provided
  • \n
  • Hybrid working, with 1–2 days per week in our Stevenage office
  • \n
  • Paid travel
  • \n
  • Wellbeing Employee Assistance Programme including GP Access
  • \n
  • Company pension and life insurance
  • \n

  • \n
