Alexander Steele Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with one of the UK's leading speciality bakery manufacturers to recruit a Senior Development Technologist.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with a strong baking heritage that has recently invested in a brand-new, fully automated bakery facility.

Reporting to the NPD Process Manager, you'll develop innovative bakery products from concept through to launch, working closely with Production, Technical, Commercial and Operations teams.

You'll play a key role in creating new products, leading trials and ensuring successful factory implementation, with a strong focus on bakery products.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience within bakery product development.

• Strong knowledge of bread or bakery products.
\n
• Food Science qualification or relevant industry experience.
\n
• We'd also consider candidates from a bakery Technical background looking to move into NPD.
