\nA leading education organisation is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee multiple sites and lead the delivery of safe, compliant and well-maintained facilities.
\nThis role requires a unique mix of compliance expertise, practical maintenance knowledge and strong people skills. You'll be just as comfortable managing regulatory records and health & safety requirements as you are mentoring site teams, working alongside colleagues to resolve maintenance issues and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
\n🔹 Your Responsibilities:
\n'14; Lead facilities operations across multiple sites
\n'14; Ensure compliance records, inspections and statutory requirements are maintained
\n'14; Oversee health & safety, risk assessments and contractor performance
\n'14; Manage planned and reactive maintenance works
\n'14; Support, mentor and develop site teams
\n'14; Carry out or support practical maintenance tasks when required
\n'14; Manage projects, budgets and procurement activities
\n'14; Build strong relationships with operational leaders and key stakeholders
\n'14; Balance competing priorities across multiple departments and locations
\n🔹 What They're Looking For:
\n'14; Proven Facilities or Estates Management experience
\n'14; Strong compliance, health & safety and record-keeping knowledge
\n'14; Hands-on maintenance experience across general building services
\n'14; Experience leading, coaching or mentoring facilities teams
\n'14; Strong contractor and supplier management experience
\n'14; Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
\n'14; Ability to influence and work effectively with a range of senior leaders
\n'14; Full UK driving licence
\n'14; School or education sector experience highly desirable
\n'14; IOSH, NEBOSH or similar qualification advantageous
