FP&A Functional ConsultantPermanentLocation: UK - Fully RemoteSalary: £65,000 - £80,000 plus bonusKey skills: Unit4 FP&A, FP&A implementation, solution configuration, budgeting, forecasting, financial planningWe are recruiting a Unit4 FP&A Functional Consultant for a specialist business systems consultancy.This is a hands-on consulting role focused on the implementation and configuration of Unit4 FP&A solutions for a range of customers.The successful candidate must have practical experience configuring and implementing Unit4 FP&A. This role would not suit someone whose experience is limited to using an FP&A system within an end-user finance team.You will work closely with customers to understand their planning, budgeting and forecasting requirements, translate those requirements into effective system designs, and configure solutions that support their business processes.This is a UK-based remote role, with travel to customer sites when required.The RoleAs a Unit4 FP&A Functional Consultant, you will:Deliver Unit4 FP&A implementation projectsRun discovery workshops and gather customer requirementsTranslate finance and FP&A processes into effective system designsConfigure Unit4 FP&A solutions for budgeting, forecasting, planning and reportingSupport data migration, testing, training and go-live activityAdvise customers on best practice and process improvementTroubleshoot functional and configuration issuesWork closely with technical consultants, developers and project teamsContribute to solution design, estimates and pre-sales activitySupport installations, upgrades and wider project delivery where requiredKeep up to date with Unit4 FP&A product developments and new functionalityAbout YouYou will bring:Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Unit4 FP&AExperience delivering at least one full Unit4 FP&A implementationStrong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reportingExperience gathering requirements and designing FP&A solutionsThe ability to configure solutions based on customer requirementsExperience working directly with finance stakeholders and end usersStrong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutionsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesThe confidence to take ownership of delivery and work independentlyDesirable ExperienceExperience in any of the following would be beneficial:Unit4 FP&A CPM or BISQL Server or OracleT-SQL or PL/SQLETL tools such as SSISJavaScriptERP or wider business applicationsFinance, accounting or Unit4 certificationsUnit4 Record to Report accreditationThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist consultancy with live Unit4 FP&A projects already in delivery.The successful candidate will need to become productive quickly and take ownership of functional implementation work from requirements gathering through to go-live.TPBN1_UKTJ
