\nWe’re looking for a broad based GMC registered Doctor who enjoy making a difference in people's lives every day.
\nIf you are looking for a break from shift work or are seeking a new, exciting career opportunity to develop and enhance your medical skills, and still be able to utilise your medical skills but differently, helping people, apply and become a Functional Assessor.
\nYou will carry out assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
\nWhat we look for:

- An GMC-registered Doctor with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience in the UK \n
- A proactive and keen learner with excellent oral and written communication skills \n
- Someone comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports \n
- An expert clinician comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions \n
This role is a great opportunity for registered Doctors to develop their clinical knowledge and hone their assessment skills further, all while helping people move forward with their lives.
