The Role

This opportunity is to join a highly respected disputes team within the private client practice, specialising in contentious trusts and probate matters. The role encompasses:

    \n
  • Acting on complex, high-value and often cross-border trust and estate disputes
  • \n
  • Advising on challenges to wills, breach of trust claims, fiduciary duty issues, and succession disputes
  • \n
  • Managing your own caseload while assisting senior lawyers on significant, high-profile cases
  • \n
  • Drafting pleadings and correspondence, engaging in mediations and court hearings
  • \n
  • Playing an active role in business development initiatives
  • \n
\n

What They’re Looking For

\n
    \n
  • 4-5 years’ PQE with contentious trusts and probate experience
  • \n
  • Strong technical ability, drafting skills and attention to detail
  • \n
  • Ability to manage cases independently and contribute to team strategy
  • \n
  • A commercial mindset, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • \n
  • STEP or ACTAPS qualification (or progress towards this) will be viewed favourably
  • \n
