Quick Facts Location: 320 Hospital Drive, Martinsville, VA, 24112 Start Date: 08/03/2026 End Date: 07/31/2027 Shift: 4 days/week, 8-10 hours/day (pending patient volume) Hours/Week: Flexible, overtime paid after 40 hours Employment Type: Contract | Full-Time Experience: Prior experience in Hematology/Oncology preferred, licensure required Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Apartment available for eligible candidates 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success What You’ll Do Provide specialized care in Hematology and Oncology at a major facility Manage a patient volume of approximately 12-15 patients daily Conduct patient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits Be on call for established patients, with very light call duties (beeper only, 2-5 calls/week) Collaborate with a team of three additional permanent providers in the oncology center Participate in quality improvement and team meetings as required Support long-term patient care plans and coordinate treatment strategies What You Need Required: Medical license in Virginia Board certification/eligibility in Hematology and Oncology Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical oncology setting Strong communication and team collaboration skills Preferred: Long-term commitment candidates Candidates residing within driving distance to Martinsville, VA About the Assignment This assignment is at a prominent hospital in Martinsville, VA, providing comprehensive Hematology/Oncology services.
