Warehouse Receiver

A well-established local steel company is seeking a dependable Full-Time Steel Receiver / Warehouse Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

• Receive and inspect incoming steel products and materials.
• Safely unload delivery trucks.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure product accuracy and condition.
• Verify weights, measurements, and material specifications.
• Match incoming shipments to purchase orders and customer orders.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move and organize materials.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient receiving area.
• Work closely with warehouse and production personnel to ensure timely material flow.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or receiving experience is helpful but not required.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus, but we will train the right individual.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive work ethic.
