The person in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures. All positions require the ability to work retail store business hours. Regular attendance is expected, and schedules will be offered based on the business needs and availability.\n

\nResponsibilities:\n
\n
\nMonitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises\n
\nCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property against theft, preventing safety hazards and violence\n
\nEnforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance, including evacuation routes\n
\nReport recoveries made via the client's internal system\n
\nWrite detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)\n
\nProvide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner\n
\nMonitor for irregular or unusual activity\n
\nSecure facility and designated areas\n
\nEnforce facility and company policies and procedures\n
\nRemain calm and communicate with on-site store detectives, law enforcement, and store leadership, while professionally documenting and escalating incidents.\n
\nCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property\n
\n
\nQualifications:\n
\n
\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\n
\nMust have one (1) year of experience as a security officer, preferably in a retail setting\n
\nMust have open availability to work all shifts and schedules\n
\nMust have reliable transportation\n
\nMust have good communication skills\n
\nAbility to sit, stand, or walk for long periods\n
\nMust be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.\n
\nAbility to think clearly during crisis or high-stress events/periods\n
\nMust possess high integrity, trust, accountability, and work ethic\n
\nEffective oral and written communication skills\n
\n
