Adecco is hiring Gage Technicians for a leading manufacturing company in Exeter, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with precision measuring equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working with measurements, decimals, and basic math in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temporary assignment with strong potential to become a long-term opportunity.

Position: Gage Technician
Location: Exeter, NH
Hours: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $26.00/hour

What You'll Do

  • Inspect, clean, maintain, and calibrate precision gages and measuring equipment.

  • Verify gages are accurate and meet required specifications before being returned to production.

  • Perform basic dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation.

  • Record calibration and inspection results accurately.

  • Troubleshoot gages that are out of tolerance and identify potential issues.

  • Support production by ensuring measuring equipment is accurate and available when needed.

  • Maintain organized calibration records and documentation.

  • Follow quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of manufacturing, quality, machining, calibration, or inspection experience preferred.

  • Strong math skills with the ability to confidently work with decimals, fractions, and measurements.

  • Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, and other inspection tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic measurement issues.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
