Quick Facts: Location: 1044 Belmont Ave, Youngstown, OH 44504 Start Date: 08/01/2026 Duration: Ongoing, with 1 week/month coverage (7 days on, 7 days off) Shift: 24-hour shifts (7A-7A), 12 hours in-house + beeper coverage Hours/week: 40+ hours (per schedule) Employment Type: Locum Licensure/Certifications: Valid medical license in Ohio or nearby states, board certification in neuroendovascular surgery preferred Experience: Prior neuroendovascular and stroke response experience required Pay & Benefits: Competitive pay packages (details discussed upon application) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to applicable laws Travel reimbursements: airfare, lodging, rental car Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do: Provide neuroendovascular and stroke response services, including thrombectomy procedures, round-the-clock Respond to ED stroke alerts and perform urgent interventions Collaborate with hospital teams in a Level 1 trauma center setting Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR system Participate in call rotation, averaging 7 days per month Support patient care for adult and geriatric populations in inpatient settings What You Need: Valid medical license in Ohio or a nearby state Board certified in neuroendovascular surgery or equivalent experience Ability to perform 24/7 neuroendovascular procedures and ED stroke calls Strong communication and team collaboration skills At least 2+ years of relevant specialty experience (preferred) About the Assignment: This assignment involves providing critical neuroendovascular services at a major hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, known for its high-volume thrombectomy center and dedicated stroke care.
