Job Summary
A manufacturing company in Riverside, CA is seeking a bilingual Spanish EHS Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a safety-focused professional with hands-on experience in occupational health and safety, regulatory compliance, training, incident prevention, and environmental reporting.
The EHS Coordinator will play an important role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with operations leadership, support safety programs, participate in continuous improvement, and help build a strong safety culture across the site. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and focused on accountability, employee well-being, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental laws, regulations, codes, and company policies.
- Maintain and support site safety programs, procedures, training, safety committee activities, and enforcement of safety guidelines.
- Conduct accident and incident investigations, support prevention efforts, and maintain required reporting systems and documentation.
- Manage internal inspection programs, corrective action tracking, audit follow-ups, regulatory reporting, and required agency documentation.
- Support respiratory protection, employee license and certification tracking, job safety analyses, building inspections, and ISO-related safety requirements.
- Partner with site operations leadership and management on safety, environmental, compliance, and employee training initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $33.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, plus overtime and occasional Saturdays.
- Location: Riverside, CA.
