\nPer DM / On call (As needed)\n
\nMornings & Afternoons\n
\nWeekend Availability is a must\n
\nHourly starting wage: $34.00/h(weekly pay)\n
\n
\nDuties and responsibilities included but not limited to:\n
\n
\nFollow established healthcare and Department standard precautions and procedures in the performance of all duties and responsibilities to ensure a safe work environment for everyone.\n
\nPromote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.\n
\nUnderstand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements and specific post instructions.\n
\nMandatory qualification and training on handguns and other necessary equipment and general safety procedures.\n
\nInteract with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.\n
\nThis position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.\n
\nYou must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an armed Security Officer.\n
\nMeet Prosegur attendance and punctuality requirements to be on your assigned post on time to ensure proper coverage and quality services to patients, visitors and employees.\n

\nQualifications:\n
\n
\nCT Guard License\n
\nCT State Licensed Carry Permit (Class 1 or Higher)- Unrestricted\n
\nMandatory Firearm Qualification Screening\n
\n4+ Years Prior Law Enforcement, Military, Armed Security Officer or Executive Protection Experience Required\n
\n22+ years of age\n
\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required (Higher Education also Accepted)\n
\nExpectations for professional attire, personal hygiene, and appropriate conduct while on duty\n
\nStrong Verbal and Written communication skills\n
\nWillingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screening, background investigation\n
\nExcellent communication skills and good judgment\n
\nAbility to stand for 8 hours\n
\nAbility to remain calm in a stressful situation\n
\nMust commit to all mandatory company trainings.\n
\n
\nPhysical Requirements:This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:\n
\n
\nWalk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)\n
\nFrequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes\n
\nWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions\n
\nMaintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols\n
\nOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds\n
\n
