Job Summary and Qualifications\n\nAs a Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll provide hands-on, compassionate care to patients on their path to mental wellness. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to mental health. Together, you’ll create a safe, healing environment where patients feel empowered and hopeful as they move toward recovery.
\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n\n- \n
- Administering medications, monitoring patient status, assisting with ADLs, and supporting therapeutic activities that promote mental well-being \n
- Documenting care, behaviors, and progress clearly and promptly to ensure patient safety and team collaboration \n
- Observing and sharing changes in patients’ mental and physical condition to the care team to help guide treatment \n
- Offering support and education to help patients build coping skills, stay engaged in treatment, and practice self-care \n
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide smooth, high-quality care that supports healing and well-being \n
- \n
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date \n
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date \n
- (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse \n
