Locum Tenens NP - Neurosurgery Job Opportunity in SC

• Clinic Hours: 9 AM to 3:30 PM; rounds are necessary before clinic hours.
• On-Call Requirements: One weeknight call and one weekend day call each week.
• Patient Load: Expect an average of 5 to 10 hospital patients per mid-level provider daily.
• Case Mix: 50% trauma cases, focusing entirely on the adult population.
• Surgical Duties: Perform 6 to 12 surgeries daily, with 1 to 2 admissions.
• Essential Skills: EVD placement, lumbar drain insertion, and ICP monitor placement are required.
• Additional Skills: Proficiency in suturing, lumbar puncture, and managing complex wound surgeries is necessary.
• Patient Care: Involves ICU patients in an inpatient/acute care environment.
