Quick Facts: Location: CHI Health Good Samaritan, 10 E 31st Street, Kearney, NE 68847 Start Date: 08/01/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing coverage requested, with specific assignment weeks (see schedule below) Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum/Contract Licenses/Certs: Board Certified in Radiology required (MD or DO) Experience: Broad-based IR practice including spine procedures, port/central line placements, biopsies, oncology interventions, kyphoplasty, and breast biopsies Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay—Tier 1: $625/hour and below, Tier 2: $626-$650/hour Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable Supportive team environment with dedicated technologists and nursing staff Support for travel and lodging arrangements, including preferred lodging at Candlewood Suites What You’ll Do: Provide outpatient and inpatient IR procedures, including pain management, biopsy, and drainage techniques Perform spinal interventions like vertebral augmentation and kyphoplasty Place ports and central lines for diverse patient needs Support oncology interventions and image-guided therapies Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards What You Need: MD or DO with active medical license in Nebraska Board Certified/Eligible in Radiology (ABR preferred) Proven experience in interventional radiology procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to start ASAP, based on credentialing About the Assignment: Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney is a Level II Trauma Center with 175 beds, committed to delivering high-quality trauma and IR services.
