This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

\n

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

\n

\n
• Schedule: November 23 - November 25 and December 28 - December 31. Monday through Friday outpatient coverage. Shift hours are approximately 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch. No call required.
\n
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Gastroenterology at Altru Professional Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Approximately 14-16 procedures per day.
\n
• Type of cases and required procedures: Colonoscopies and Esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGDs) primarily in the outpatient setting. Additional required procedures include Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery or laser), injection of varices, Esophageal dilation/manometry, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy with biopsy, and polyp excision.

• Credentialing timeframe: Not specified.
\n
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified.
\n
• Certifications required: Board Certification required.
\n
• Licensure required: Active North Dakota license required. Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) providers accepted.
