Remote Medicaid Call Center Associate Kansas

\nThis position is remote - must reside in Kansas
\n\n
Hours of Operation: 8 am – 7 pm CST (8- hours shifts)
\nPossible shifts – will be determined at the end of training based on business needs and are subject to change
\nShifts – 8:00am – 4:30pm
\n8:30am – 5:00pm
\n9:00am – 5:30pm
\n10:30am – 7:00pm
\nTraining is remote M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm - approx 7 weeks long. Training will be done remotely via video. Must have camera on during training
\nClass Starts: Early August - No time off during training period
\nEquipment will be provided - must have dedicated workspace free of interruptions
\nMust have Internet speeds of 10mpbs upload -50mpbs download

Job Description:
\nAs part of the KanCare Clearinghouse Program, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) will provide quality customer service in the KanCare Contact Center. The position is responsible for gathering thorough documentation and entering information into various systems
\n\n
Essential duties may include, but are not limited to:

Dedicated and trained specifically for supporting KDHE’s programs, systems, policies, and procedures
\n - \n
Answers questions about the eligibility process and provides general program information for Family Medical and E&D/LTC Programs
\n - \n
Responds to calls courteously, accurately, and concisely
\n - \n
Provides a high-quality customer service and focuses on the accuracy of information provided
\n - \n
Evaluates information received through a phone contact and asks appropriate follow-up questions, solicits additional information, and evaluates the potential impact of the information provided
\n - \n
Use standard technology: telephones, e-mail, and web browsers
\n - \n
Maintain with up-to-date knowledge of regulations, policies, and guidelines
\n - \n
Complete all assigned training as necessary
\n

Minimum Qualifications/Experience
\n- \n

High School diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
\n - \n
Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in customer service
\n
\n
Preferred Skills or Knowledge:
\n- \n
- \n
Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in Family Medical Medicaid eligibility
\n - \n
Knowledge of Medicaid and managed care programs
\n - \n
Bilingual Spanish/English with the ability to speak and read both languages fluently.
