- Preventive Maintenance: Execute repairs on material-handling and distribution equipment to keep everything moving.
- Documentation: Log your work and maintenance progress using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Building Upkeep: Handle general facility maintenance, including basic wiring, plumbing, and lamp replacement.
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience (in facilities, the Armed Forces, distribution, or manufacturing environments).
- Technical Skills: You know your way around industrial electricity (single/three-phase, motors, sensors) and mechanical theory (conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics). You also have at least 6 months of hands-on experience with power and hand tools.
- Physical Readiness: You are comfortable lifting up to 80 lbs, climbing to heights of 100 feet for repairs, and performing repetitive physical tasks.

Responsibilities
- Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material-handling and other Distribution Center (DC) equipment.
- Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)-generated preventive maintenance worksheets to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practices.
- Maintains efficient operation of material handling equipment by clearing jams and removing foreign materials.
- Performs general building maintenance as directed, such as lamp replacement, simple construction, wiring, repair of overhead doors and plumbing.
- Knowledge of industrial electricity including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices and/or photo sensors.
