Battery Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role A leading automotive EV battery manufacturer is seeking an experienced Battery Manufacturing Engineer to support the planning, installation, validation, and launch of EV battery manufacturing equipment. This role combines project management with hands-on manufacturing engineering, with a strong emphasis on pre-production trials and production launch — taking a line from equipment installation through to a producible, validated product ready for mass production. The environment is a fast-paced, high-throughput automated operation where cycle times are measured in seconds per operation. Please Read Before Applying ~5 years of engineering/manufacturing experience with pre-production trial and launch Experience taking a line from equipment install to producible, validated product Fast-paced, high-throughput automated manufacturing — cycle times in seconds per operation Electrode (coating/slot-die, roll-to-roll, calendaring, tab-cut/slitting) or module (high-speed assembly, laser welding) experience 100% onsite in Liberty, NC; able to travel internationally 15–25% and work ~50-hour weeks
