What You'll DoAs a Registered Vascular Technologist, you'll perform a wide range of vascular ultrasound examinations on patients from neonatal through geriatric populations. You'll work independently while collaborating closely with physicians to provide accurate, timely diagnostic imaging that helps guide treatment decisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Complete carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal vascular examinations.
- Perform upper and lower extremity arterial and venous studies, including ABI and PVR testing.
- Image bypass grafts, stents, endarterectomies, and post-vein ablation procedures.
- Recognize and communicate critical or abnormal findings to interpreting physicians.
- Accurately document procedures and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and help mentor students or newer staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Vascular Ultrasound program.
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Minimum 2–3 years of vascular ultrasound experience, including:
- Carotid imaging
- Upper & lower extremity venous studies
- Upper & lower extremity arterial studies
- Abdominal vascular ultrasound
- ABI/PVR testing
- Bypass grafts, stents, and endarterectomy imaging
- Ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional quality and patient care.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience mentoring students or fellow technologists.
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
