Salary Range: $47.67 - $56.74 per hour

Job Overview:

The CT Technologist will deliver patient services utilizing diagnostic CT scanning equipment. This role requires proficiency in producing high-quality images for physicians to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, the technologist must provide excellent care by exercising sound judgment and discretion.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid New Jersey Radiology license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Prior experience in CT imaging.

Preferred:

• CT Certification.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Part-Time
• Evening Shift

Essential Functions:

• Assist radiologists with specialized examinations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using RIS and PACS systems.
• Apply professional judgment and discretion during imaging procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness in examination rooms and work areas.
• Maintain CR cassettes and report any needing repair.
• Keep stock levels adequate in all procedure rooms.
• Conduct daily calibration and quality assurance checks as needed.
• Report equipment issues to the supervisor and submit work orders as necessary.
• Utilize RadCode for interventional billing related to specific procedures.
• Implement radiation protection principles for both patients and self during examinations.
• Use appropriate positioning and technical factors to ensure diagnostic quality images.
