Mechanical Assembler

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join the team. -Assemble and install major components with their sub-assemblies under minimal supervision -Perform assembly functions such as layouts, maintaining specified tolerances, positioning of components, alignment of drive couplings and pinion gears, roller chain and belt installs, bore-sighting etc -Assist in start-up, processing, repairs and rebuilds -Identify equipment needs and/or safety issues related to condition and operation of equipment -Work with other departments to ensure accuracy and assembly details and keep projects on schedule -Adherence to safety protocols -Operate sit-down forklift as needed Required Skills & Experience -High school diploma or equivalent -3+ years of experience in industrial or machine assembly -Ability to read blueprints -Must be forklift certified or ability to become certified -Must either have or be willing to purchase own basic tools -Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude -Understanding of electronics -Willing to work OT as needed -Able to lift up to 50 lbs -Ability to use hand and power tools -Ability to climb ladders, stoop, crouch and move about as needed By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, Al-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Synerfac Technical Staffing and our contracted partners.
