\nSummary/objective:\n
\n
\nIn this position, you will be tasked to lead and manage the construction department. Oversee installation of equipment in accordance with federal, state and company policies and regulations. Communication and daily interaction with customers, vendors, sub-contractors, local and state regulatory agencies is required. Construction Manager will need to monitor for any safety issues and correct any issues while still striving to complete the project on time. Construction Manager will direct and develop foreman, while also establishing, developing and maintaining comprehensive construction options and client-base. This position will implement the company’s policies and procedures, support internal and external marketing plans to increase revenues and profits and ensure the highest quality of customer service is provided. The CM is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization. This position will report directly to the Branch Manager. *MUST HAVE PETROLEUM EXPERIENCE*\n

\nResponsibilities:\n
\n
\nManages design/build, construction management, or construct-only projects from project assignment through completion. May be responsible for managing concurrently more than one project. Accountable for all construction activities on assigned project(s).\n
\nServe as a liaison between Company, subcontractors, and construction teams on basic project issues.\n
\nReview plans and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.\n
\nMaintain close relationships with clients to resolve all project questions, such as, but not limited to, technical requirements, completion requirements and billing inquiries.\n
\nReview with manager all project changes, pending or anticipated alterations to the contract, additional work requests, and all other factors, which may significantly affect staffing requirements or budget.\n
\nSupervise work of project personnel to ensure that it meets the highest professional standards.\n
\nCoordinate with other internal departments to meet project requirements.\n
\nDefine the scope of assigned projects and develop plan to accomplish projects. Monitor progress toward deliverable schedules. Compile project status reports.\n
\nReview job cost sheets and assist with preparation of monthly billings. Ensure assigned projects stay within budget allocation.\n
\nAssist manager in securing repeat business from existing clients and identifying new clients.\n
\nRequirements:\n

\nRequired Education and Experience:\n
\n
\nA minimum of a high school diploma/GED required. College degree preferred.\n
\nIntermediate knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment is required.\n
\nSkilled in providing excellent customer relations by exchanging information with courtesy and consideration.\n
\nAbility to exhibit a professional demeanor, and develop customer relations and superior service.\n
\nAbility to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with all levels of an organization internally and externally.\n
\nAbility to read and interpret schematics and understand necessary service and training manuals.\n
\nAbility to perform basic arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.\n
\nAbility to understand and follow and convey verbal and/or demonstrated instructions.\n
\nAbility to maintain a good understanding of industry innovations and product availability in order to make recommendations based on customer needs.\n
\nAbility to safely operate personal hand tools.\n
\nAbility to draw upon available support resources from within the company and recognize when it is appropriate to do such.\n
\nMust have experience in the installation and operation of Petroleum Handling Equipment\n
\nSuch other knowledge, skills, and abilities as are necessary in connection with additionally assigned duties.\n

\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.\n
