Sanitas Medical Center is seeking an experienced Medical Director (MD/DO) to provide clinical leadership for our Tampa Bay region, supporting our Pinellas and Riverview medical centers. Medical Director Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the assigned medical centers
  • \n
  • Mentor, support, and collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers
  • \n
  • Promote evidence-based medicine and clinical best practices
  • \n
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, population health programs, and value-based care objectives
  • \n
  • Partner with operational leadership to improve clinical performance, patient satisfaction, and overall practice operations
  • \n
  • Participate in provider recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and professional development
  • \n
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and clinical guidelines
  • \n
  • Maintain an active clinical practice while fulfilling Medical Director responsibilities
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • \n
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • \n
  • Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • \n
  • Active DEA registration
  • \n
  • Previous physician leadership or Medical Director experience preferred
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of outpatient primary care and value-based care models
  • \n
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • \n
  • Passion for mentoring providers and improving patient outcomes
  • \n
