Quick Facts Location: Mercy Anderson Hospital, Cincinnati, OH 45255 Start Date: 08/01/2026 End Date: Until transitioned to full-time OBHG coverage (expected Q1 2027) Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM (whole 12-hour shifts required) Hours/Week: Varies based on shifts scheduled Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: Active Ohio medical license, Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Experience: Preferred candidates with prior inpatient OB/GYN experience Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $319.80/hour (paid weekly via direct deposit) Benefits: Comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and other reimbursements as applicable Additional Perks: Robust referral bonus program, 24/7 support team, and travel reimbursement options including airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage What You’ll Do Provide inpatient OB care, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections Manage emergent gynecologic surgeries and procedures Cover hospital call for ED and outpatient departments (HOPD) Collaborate with midwives and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care Conduct daily rounds on obstetric and gynecologic patients Discharge patients and coordinate care transitions Document all care using Epic (Stork system) What You Need Ohio medical license and active board certification in OB/GYN Minimum of 2+ years of inpatient OB/GYN experience preferred Strong procedural skills including deliveries, C-sections, and emergent surgeries Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This is a hospital-based locum opportunity at a leading facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. The assignment involves providing comprehensive OB/GYN inpatient care, supporting hospital call coverage, and working closely with internal teams and residents. Credentialing is estimated to take approximately 4 months.
