Position: PRN Nocturnist Gastroenterology Hospitalist
Location: Arlington, VA (DC Metro / DMV Area)
Our organization is in search of a Board-Certified Gastroenterology Hospitalist to become part of our expanding, patient-focused program at our primary hospital facility in Arlington, Virginia, a prominent medical center in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
This role is perfect for Gastroenterologists who are keen on delivering high-acuity GI care within an overnight inpatient call framework, offering a flexible schedule.

Available Shifts
Weekday Shift: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM (on-call, available for urgent procedures or in-house consultations).
Weekend Shift: 5:00 PM Friday - 7:00 AM Monday (on-call coverage, managing inpatient consultations and procedures).
Position Responsibilities
Deliver clinical gastroenterology services overnight for inpatients.
Handle acute GI conditions and other urgent/emergent cases.
Work closely with Emergency Medicine, ICU, and Hospitalist teams.
Ensure prompt documentation and structured handoff to daytime GI physicians.
Support our mission to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.
Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship.
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology.
Preferred experience in inpatient GI and endoscopy (new graduates with strong training are encouraged to apply).
Eligible for or licensed by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
