Opportunity Overview:

  • The physician will join a well-established outpatient Family Medicine practice located in Muskegon, Michigan.
  • Collaboration with a dedicated care team, which includes 4 Physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers, is a key aspect of this role.
  • This practice emphasizes a procedures-oriented outpatient approach, encompassing skin treatments, joint injections, and other typical Family Medicine procedures.
  • The physician will work a full-time schedule (1.0 FTE), typically comprising 4 to 4.5 clinic days each week.
  • Clinic hours are as follows:
    • Monday to Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
    • Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
    • Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM
  • The office operates Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
  • Call responsibilities are shared and unrestricted, rotating among Family Medicine providers within the network, averaging only a few weeknights and weekends annually, along with one holiday rotation.

Qualifications:

  • Open to both new graduates and experienced candidates.
  • Physicians must hold board certification in their specialty or be board eligible, with the expectation to achieve board certification within two years of eligibility.
  • A valid Michigan state medical license is required upon employment.
  • A DEA license is necessary.
  • BLS certification is required, with ongoing recertification needed.
