HEAVY DIESEL ROAD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

If you enjoy diagnosing problems more than repeating PM work… and would rather have independence than spend your day in the same bay… this role may be worth exploring.
This position is built for an experienced diesel tech who wants variety, freedom, and the ability to solve real problems in the field while staying hands on.
What’s Offered
• $26 to $34/hour based on experience with OT available
• Mon - Fri, 7am to 4pm with local routes only
• Additional pay for occasional after hours or weekend service calls

What You’ll Be Doing
• Diagnose and repair heavy diesel trucks and trailers in the field
• Respond to roadside breakdowns and emergency service calls
• Perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs involving brakes, electrical systems, engines, HVAC, tires, and DPF systems
• Manage parts inventory and complete service documentation from your mobile unit
• Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and customers throughout repairs
Equipment You’ll Work On
• Class 6 through 8 trucks
• Commercial fleets and municipal vehicles
• 48’ and 53’ trailers
• Heavy diesel equipment and trailer systems
What You Need
• CDL Class A license - BUT, if you don't have it, we will get you trained & certified
• 2+ years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred
• Experience working on 48’ and 53’ trailers strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting ability with minimal supervision
• Basic tools and comfort working outside of a traditional shop setting

Pay Details: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
