Quick Facts: Location: Morgantown, WV — 1200 J D Anderson Drive Start Date: 10/01/2026 End Date: 04/01/2027 Shift: Clinic plus call coverage, 5x8-hour nights (00:00 – 08:00) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: Board Certified in Gastroenterology, WV State License (or eligible via IMLC), DEA, BLS, ACLS Experience: Minimum 2 years in GI practice, advanced procedures in ERCP & EUS required Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $487.50/hour Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and other applicable reimbursements Additional Pay: OT at 1.5x after 40 hours, holiday pay at 1.5x, and call pay at $5000/weekend, $700/hour callback What You’ll Do: Perform all general and advanced GI procedures, including ERCP and EUS Support staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary team at a Level IV trauma center Manage patient consultations, diagnostics, and follow-up care Provide endoscopic procedures ranging from 12-20 per day Participate in clinic and call shifts, maintaining high-quality patient care Adhere to hospital policies and EMR documentation standards (Cerner system) What You Need: Board Certification in Gastroenterology Active WV license or eligible (IMLC candidates considered) DEA license BLS and ACLS certifications 2+ years of GI practice experience, proficiency in advanced procedures Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This assignment is based at a leading healthcare facility in Morgantown, WV, providing comprehensive Gastroenterology services within a busy hospital setting.
