BC/BE Radiologist
Job Description
Our organization, situated in Spartanburg, SC, is actively looking for a FULL-TIME board-certified or board-eligible radiologist. Candidates should possess fellowship training in PET/Nuclear Radiology or have substantial practical experience in the field. We are recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center, a tertiary referral facility, and a community teaching hospital serving the Upstate region of South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in a mix of Nuclear Medicine Imaging and general Diagnostic Radiology.
- Provide both onsite and remote coverage using a full PACS home workstation, supporting a 5-campus health system with approximately 500,000 studies annually and a growth rate of 4-5%. Over 4,000 PET CT exams are conducted each year.
- Participate in weekend call shifts remotely.
- Utilize teleradiology for all overnight reads after 7 PM.
- Share call responsibilities equally among the radiology team.
- No interventional radiology duties are required; focus is solely on diagnostic radiology.
