Adecco is hiring 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanics in Somersworth, NH! If you have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production team.
Schedule:
3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay: $30/HR+ based on experience
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Perform routine equipment inspections and minor mechanical adjustments
- Restart and monitor machinery following maintenance or shutdowns
- Support production by assisting with loom operation, repairs, style changes, and product changeovers
- Repair machine breaks and ensure products meet quality specifications
- Read and interpret gauges, rulers, service manuals, and work instructions
- Complete maintenance documentation and production records accurately
- Safely move materials and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and hazardous material handling
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
- Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair experience
- Experience maintaining or repairing industrial manufacturing equipment preferred
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, gauges, and measuring tools
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to become certified in forklift operation and lockout/tagout procedures
- Textile manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
