Position Overview

Our organization is seeking a full-time oral and maxillofacial surgeon to take on the role of Chief of Oral Health within the Division of the Department of Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

This role entails engaging in a comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgery practice while also providing administrative leadership for both OMFS and Dentistry. Specific duties include:

  • Overseeing clinical practices and administrative functions
  • Delivering didactic and clinical training for residents
  • Participating in outreach and philanthropic initiatives
  • Collaborating with community organizations
  • Supporting and promoting clinically focused research

Additionally, the Division manages a general practice residency alongside the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, with funding available for academic endeavors.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a DDS or DMD degree and hold board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Experience and credentials should align with an academic appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

  • Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945
  • Compensation determined by academic rank and experience
