JOB TITLE: Advanced Material Handling Associate JOB LOCATION: Orlando FL WAGE RANGE*: $27-28.69/hr. JOB NUMBER: 26-01182 JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Advanced Material Handling Associate to work from their Orlando FL facility. A Material Handling Associate supports the efficient movement, storage, and maintaining of materials within a warehouse or production facility, ensuring accurate inventory control and timely delivery to support manufacturing and operational processes. This role involves operating material handling equipment, following safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow. As the Advanced Material Handling Associate, you'll act as a team lead for group activities, cross-functional or Supply Chain communication and customer inquiries. Additionally, you'll analyze and act on data related to production rates data, review stock records, and prepare purchase orders to determine stock status against production requirements. You'll also communicate material control issues to department, identify material shortages, support problem solving resolutions and actively develop continuous improvement strategies.
