We are seeking a dedicated professional to be an integral part of our patient care team. As a Registered Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, assess, and provide services based on a treatment plan developed by a physician. You will also oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring high-quality care is delivered. Peer evaluations will be part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments, which may include OASIS data elements, to determine the patient's physical functioning and need for therapy services.
  • Collaborate with physicians and engage with patients and caregivers to create a tailored plan of care aimed at maximizing rehabilitation potential.
  • Implement prescribed treatments and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in executing the physical therapy program.
  • Develop and instruct patients on a home exercise program (HEP), documenting instructions in visit notes.
  • Monitor and report any significant changes in the patient's condition to the physician and communicate these updates to the care team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all services in accordance with agency policies.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions and situations.
  • Provide the agency with necessary documentation, including proof of licensure, to verify qualifications.
  • Accept assignments only for which you are qualified.
  • Adhere to all applicable state, federal, local, and agency regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all patient and agency information.
  • Comply with all policies, including HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program recognized by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
  • Current licensure/registration as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas.
  • At least one year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience working under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist for a minimum of one year.
  • This position is part of our Driver Safety Program, requiring a valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with minimum coverage limits of 100,000/300,000/100,000.
Working Conditions

This role involves a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is estimated between $93,000 and $128,000 annually. This range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay and may vary based on geographic location, as well as individual skills, experience, education, and certifications.
