Flex Unarmed Security Officer- Retail\n

\nPosition: $18.00 p/h\n
\n
\nFlex Officer (On Call) - Open availability - 10am - 9pm\n
\n
\nDuties and responsibilities included but not limited to:\n
\n
\nMonitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises\n
\nCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property\n
\nGuard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of the rule\n
\nManage Access Control at a closed campus.\n
\nMonitor/Operate/Dispatch response to various Security Systems\n
\nProvide escort services for occupants of client property, as requested\n
\nAnswer telephone calls and take messages, answer questions, and provide information during business and non-business hours\n
\nRespond to emergencies and investigate disturbances\n
\nMonitor for irregular or unusual activity\n
\nSecure facility and designated areas\n
\nEnforce facility and company policies and procedures\n
\nInvestigate and prepare reports on incidents\n
\nMust be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior\n
\n
\nQualifications:\n
\n
\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\n
\nMust have one (1) year of experience as a security officer, preferably in a retail setting\n
\nMust have open availability to work all shifts and schedules including weekends\n
\nMust have reliable transportation\n
\nMust have good communication skills\n
\nAbility to sit, stand, or walk for long periods\n
\nMust be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.\n
\nAbility to think clearly during crisis or high-stress events/periods\n
\nMust possess high integrity, trust, accountability, and work ethic\n
\nEffective oral and written communication skills\n
\nCCTV Experience is a Plus\n
\n
