Our organization is excited to present a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with Surgical Obstetrics expertise to become part of our Family Medicine practice in Algona, Iowa.

• Thriving practice with immediate patient volume
• Collaborate with a team of 8 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
• On-call duties for OB/hospitalist are 1:9; C-section call is 1:3
• Comprehensive family medicine services, including surgical obstetrics, emergency care, and hospitalist duties
• Access to various specialists, such as Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Orthopedics, and more
• Facilities on-site include lab, x-ray, sleep studies, MRI, CT scans, mammography, nuclear medicine, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, and emergency services
• 25-bed critical access hospital alongside a primary care clinic
• Affiliated with a Level III Trauma Center and regional teaching facility
• Designated NHSC Site

• A regional health system serving 14 counties, comprising a main medical center, eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics across northern Iowa and southern Minnesota
• Service area encompasses approximately 260,000 residents
• Offers telemedicine and teleradiology services

• $260,000 annual base salary + production incentives + ER coverage

Kossuth Regional Health Center operates a 25-bed critical access hospital, two family medicine clinics, home care services, hospice, and public health nursing programs. The center employs around 250 staff members and has established Master Affiliation and Professional Services Agreements with the main medical center.
