Our client, a successful manufacturer supplying customers across the UK and Europe, is looking for a Goods In & Production Support Operative to join their team in Andover.

As a Goods In & Production Support Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by managing incoming deliveries, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting the production team with components and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, check and inspect all incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality
  • \n
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and part lists to verify components
  • \n
  • Book stock into the system against purchase orders with precision
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate stock records and organise stores efficiently
  • \n
  • Pick parts and prepare kit lists for the production team
  • \n
  • Support machine builders by providing components and materials as needed
  • \n
  • Assist with basic mechanical assemblies when required
  • \n
  • Identify and report shortages, damaged goods or discrepancies promptly
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production and purchasing teams
  • \n

  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or technical stores environment
  • \n
  • Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings or technical part information
  • \n
  • Strong IT skills and comfort using stock control or ERP systems

  • Organised and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • \n
  • Proactive, reliable and a strong team player
