Location: Roche, Cornwall (PL26) Pay Rate: From £13.00 per hour Job Type: Temporary with the opportunity to become Permanent Start Date: ASAPCDS Labour are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing and distribution business based in Roche, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver.This is a varied role offering long-term work with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.The Role Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.Loading and unloading products.Moving stock and materials between production and dispatch areas.Supporting production when required.Heavy manual handling as part of daily duties.Cold food production and warehouse environment.Full PPE provided/required (safety boots, gloves, coat, etc.).Typical shifts are 6:00am 4:00pmWhat we are looking for:Essential: Valid Counterbalance FLT licence and experience.Good level of spoken and written English.Experience with stock control, paperwork or dispatch operations.Ability to undertake manual handling and work in a cold environmentDesirable: Full UK Driving Licence (preferred for combined FLT/Van Driver role).Previous experience within food production, warehouse or distribution.Flexible approach and willingness to support different departments.What We Offer Immediate start available.Long-term, stable work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.Friendly and supportive working environment.Free on-site parking.If you're an experienced FLT Driver looking for a varied role with long-term prospects, we'd love to hear from you.
