Job Description:Consultant Histopathologist GI / Urology / Gynaecological PathologyLocation: Just outside London (exact site on application/discussion) Specialty: Histopathology GI, Urology & Gynaecological pathology Job Type: Full-time, 40 hrs/week Reporting To: Clinical Lead / Head of Cellular PathologyAbout the Role A busy, well-regarded cellular pathology department just outside London is seeking a Consultant Histopathologist with subspecialty interest in GI, urology and gynaecological pathology. Join a supportive MDT environment with strong scope for service development.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurate, timely reporting across GI, urology and gynae specimensMDT input and collaboration with surgery, oncology, gastroenterology and gynaecologyReporting to RCPath standards; contribute to QA, audit and CPDSupervise/train junior staff, BMS and trainees as requiredParticipate in on-call rota; maintain governance/CPD complianceEssential RequirementsFull GMC registration with licence to practiseOn GMC Specialist Register in Histopathology (or within 6 months of CCT), or equivalentFRCPath or equivalentDemonstrable subspecialty experience in GI, urology and/or gynae pathologyRight to work in the UKTPBN1_UKTJ
