About the Role We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Samples Coordinator to join the team. This role would suit a recent graduate or someone at the start of their career who has a genuine interest in flavours, fragrances, essential oils or natural products and is keen to learn within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Working as part of a dedicated team, you will play an important role in managing samples for customers and internal teams, while gaining valuable experience across product development, quality and sensory evaluation.You will receive full training and mentoring, with the opportunity to build your knowledge and develop a career within the flavours and fragrance industry.Key Responsibilities Manage the receipt, handling, storage and dispatch of samplesCoordinate incoming and outgoing sample requests with internal teams, customers and logistics partnersLiaise with sales and quality teams to provide updates and resolve any issues or delaysMaintain accurate records and ensure the sample storage area is organised and well maintainedSupport customer requests and ensure samples are prepared and delivered on timeTake part in sensory training, learning how to evaluate natural products and aroma compoundsAssist with product presentations and development projectsSupport visitors and customer presentations when requiredDevelopment Opportunities This role offers excellent opportunities to learn and develop, including: Training in sensory evaluation and understanding flavour and fragrance profilesExposure to physical testing and product assessment techniquesThe opportunity to gain knowledge of laboratory processes, including techniques such as GC analysis, HPLC testing and titrationInvolvement in product development projects and customer presentationsAbout You The successful candidate will have: A degree or equivalent qualification (ideally in a relevant scientific, food, chemistry or related subject)A genuine interest in flavours, fragrances, essential oils or natural productsStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to workExcellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesGood IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookA willingness to learn and follow processes accuratelyThe ability to work independently as well as part of a teamA positive attitude and enthusiasm to develop within the industryPrevious laboratory experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.Thank you for taking the time to apply to OPR Resourcing Specialists.
